Pinkathon is one of India's biggest women’s run. It is more than just a marathon and strives to promote better lifestyle and health awareness for all. It was created with the specific purpose of getting more and more women to adopt a fitter lifestyle and to highlight the need for increased awareness about Breast cancer and other issues that put women’s lives at risk. Founded by Milind Soman and Reema Sanghavi in 2012, the event is a widespread initiative with presence in a several cities across the country today. WALKATHON 2018 – The digital vision and INCLUSION!
Walkathon is an annual feature organised by Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled on a specific theme to commemorate the World Disability Day. It is a public event organised to mainly involve people across the country and spread awareness on a common cause. Walkathon is perceived as an event made to create awareness and more importantly call for concerted action. The 14th walkathon is initiated to raise awareness on Digital Inclusion. With the theme, ‘From a resolution to a revolution’ the 14th walkathon will be organized on 8th December 2018 at Bengaluru.
